OBJECTIVES OF THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which CannaSpensary (Pty) Ltd collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users visiting our website, www.cannaspensary.co.za (‘the Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by CannaSpensary (Pty) Ltd.

WEB BROWSER COOKIES

The Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. COMMENTS

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the Site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the Site can download and extract any location data from images on the Site.

EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES

Articles on the Site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal information to others. We may share generic information not linked to any personal information regarding visitors and users with our business partners. We may use third party service providers to administer email campaigns on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters and promotions. By completing our registration/membership forms, and volunteering your contact information we have assumed that we have obtained your implied permission to use that information in this manner along with any third party who may assist us in this process. Users are welcome to unsubscribe from our info-mailers at any time.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on the Site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All staff and all users can see that information at anytime. The Site administrators and store managers only can edit or delete user personal information (except the change of username).

WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE OVER YOUR DATA

If you have an account on the Site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you by contacting us. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
